Royal Mission - Words work wonders

Plan D

In the previous blog we wrote about our various' vlucht'plannen to the Netherlands can. Alas both Plan A, Plan B and C as unworkable which meant we had to switch to Plan D, back to the guesthouse. Bale! After a few hours in the middle of the night trying in vain we had to finally give up. The cases we could get back on the treadmill and then packed and ready to trudge back to the taxi us to half past five in the morning again deposed for our guesthouse. Well, there are many worse things, but at that moment we were really quite finished. We had looked forward to the time to go home to go and if that suddenly postponed is surely just a big disappointment. In addition, we had no idea how long it would take ...

Eventually we were happy three days later and we got to fly out Wednesday afternoon in Paris where we Gerard by his father and brother were picked up, super! Glad to at least back in Europe, but when the doors were opened to the outside world .... brrrr! "Where we ended up ... in a cold room?"

Acclimatize

Both literally and figuratively. Now we are here for a week we can say that we are well-acclimatiseerd you, but it was really very accustomed. Everything we first considered as normal in the Netherlands seems suddenly very odd. And what is all flat, bare, cold, but above all luxury! We are the first few days but what about us to come and enjoy delicious of all the luxury. A good bed, hot shower and good food .... we can now enjoy extra. What we most enjoy is quite the reunion of friends and family, what good to see everyone again!

And now ...

It's time ... (but priority) to rest. Holiday, meet family and friends, doing fun things and sleeping. This we will do the first few weeks. Even our head emptying and renunciation of everything we are currently engaged.
