Report: Royal Adventure and Kids Praise on the Betteld

Nine weeks Kids Praise!
On Monday, June 28 Prisca Jacobi began an internship of nine weeks as a singing teacher at the Kids Praise. Every weekday from 10.00 - 10.30, children of primary school invited to sing for the Lord. Prisca, always complemented by a number of singers and musicians, took the children into enthusiastic praise and worship. Every week there was a coach of RM to support her, advising, training and encouragement. Wiebrand, Margreet, Wieke and Karin have here a lot of input data. We have a lot to invest in Prisca, singers, musicians and children. And the result is amazing!
A big party!
Regular began the week with 30 children and ended the timid with more than 100 kids who all went crazy for the King! Pre-some people were pessimistic whether it would succeed and that "the boys" would do too bad. But we believe and know that children love to sing. Look!
The songs were interspersed with a game to teach moves or there was a whole party put on rope. With candy, flags, instruments and lots of interaction it became again a royal feast. Many children wanted the CD with the songs to take home, so also in the car went through the party!
Royal Adventure
Hundreds of youths have participated in this summer Royal Adventure, the new youth program of the Betteld. Led by Gerlof Wiersma, Job or Martin Jonkman Koornstra were enthusiastic team leaders to work with their teams. Perso frolic, interactive and very cozy. And therefore confrontational, in-depth and vernieuwend.De good cooperation with worship leader Hanne de Vries and the sports team made it a great adventure. The start was every week with the legendary water-slide-throwing fight-balloon fight. The young people fought for each balloon and the tone was immediately put: Challenging and with abandon.
Changed lives
Two nights a week youth meeting, 2 mornings a youth Bible study by the guest speaker and a lot of conversation and prayer for young people. Dozens of lives have been touched, changed or total verieuwd. What a blessing!
Royal Adventure is a practical training in leadership among young people. Deteamleiders inquiries and news learned a lot from practice, the coaching and training specific moments this summer. So there is also nationally invested in the teen and youth work. Particularly he!
The future
This summer is just the beginning. Soon we Hobbelman with Gerhard (The Betteld) to table to see how Kids Praise Adventure and Royal in the future will develop. Probably already in the autumn and next summer also. We will keep you informed.
